How to install Pluck
- Make sure After Effects is not open before you place the Pluck files. This helps the Extension load cleanly the next time you start the app.
- On windows, copy the Pluck Extension folder into this directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CEP\extensions\
- On Mac, copy the Pluck folder into: system disk/Library, called resource library in Chinese/Application Support/Adobe/CEP/extensions
- Keep the Pluck folder structure as supplied. Do not rename internal files or move only part of the package.
- Open After Effects after the folder is in the correct CEP extensions location.
- Look for Pluck inside the After Effects Extension area, then open it from there.
- If it does not appear, check that the folder sits directly inside the CEP extensions directory and that you are using Pluck version 1.2.3.
